Abhijeet Sarkar is an author, researcher, technologist and the founder and managing director of Synaptic AI Lab Private Limited, based in Kolkata, West Bengal.

His books and papers cover artificial intelligence and superintelligence, AI governance and statecraft, the philosophy of mind, Indian philosophical traditions, cosmology, strategy and personal finance. Much of the work forms one interconnected project: the books lay out ideas, the research records set them down as frameworks, and Synaptic AI Lab builds them into products such as IndicGPT, a multilingual model for India, and MANUSH, an embodied-intelligence and robotics platform.
