Abstract

Abstract This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the near-Earth asteroid 2025 PN7, recently identified as a quasi-satellite of Earth. We consolidate observational data to detail its discovery, physical characteristics, and complex orbital dynamics within a 1:1 mean-motion resonance with our planet. The analysis confirms its temporary but remarkably stable co-orbital state, projected to last approximately 128 years. Beyond a classical astronomical characterization, this paper posits that 2025 PN7 represents a pivotal case study for the application of artificial intelligence in planetary science.
