Homo Universalis: An Analysis of the Abhijeet Sarkar's Thesis on Conscious Evolution and Planetary Consciousness
Abhijeet Sarkar · Zenodo
Abstract
Abstract In his new and significant work, Homo Universalis: The Awakening of a Planetary Consciousness, Abhijeet Sarkar, CEO and Founder of Synaptic AI Lab, presents a sweeping diagnosis of humanity's present "polycrisis" and offers a comprehensive, multi-domain blueprint for its resolution. This article provides a critical analysis of the "Sarkar Thesis," examining its four-part structure: (I) the deconstruction of humanity's inherited "cages of consciousness" (nation, religion, tribalism); (II) the diagnosis of the 21st-century "Great Unraveling," where these old systems are failing to meet a cascade of global crises; (III) the identification of emergent "signals" (from neuroscience, ecology, cosmology, and culture) that point toward a new, integrated reality; and (IV) the prescriptive "architecture" for a planetary civilization built on this new consciousness.
