Abstract
- Abstract The global artificial intelligence landscape is currently undergoing a bifurcation. While the first half of the 2020s was defined by the hegemony of Silicon Valley-based foundational models (e.g., OpenAI, Google DeepMind, Anthropic), the latter half of the decade is witnessing the rise of "Sovereign AI"—the strategic imperative for nations to own, host, and control their own intelligence infrastructure. Synaptic AI Lab Private Limited, a DPIIT-recognized DeepTech startup based in Kolkata, India, has emerged as a primary architect of this shift within the Indian subcontinent. Officially recognized by the Government of India (Certificate No: DIPP239197) and aligned with the IndiaAI Mission, Synaptic AI Lab is not merely an application-layer company but a foundational infrastructure provider.
